My favourite Magazine and Fresh Mint Tea!

My favourite Magazine and Fresh Mint Tea!

This warm weather has got me out in the garden again. I've been drinking lots of mint tea, journalling and reading my favourite Wildflower Magazine

Fresh Mint Tea is the best, but sadly all my peppermint seems to have disappeared in the garden. I will get some more, so I have a good supply this summer. For now a tea bag will surffice!

Did you know, peppermint tea is good for the digestion and eases IBS symptoms. It is linked to relieving headaches and migraines. Peppermint also has antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties, so it can help relieve clogged sinuses. As it is naturally caffeine-free, it's a great choice for an evening drink too.

I've always been interested in plants and herbs and their healing properties. As a child my Mum gave me a small section of garden where I grew herbs. I had this lovely book (below) all about uses of herbs, in beauty, medicinal and culinary. I was fascinated.

In the Spring Issue of the Wildflower Magazine there is an interesting article about Handmade Apothecary

I didn't know that the common daisy could be used in a similar way to arnica, when infused in oil. If this is something you are interested in, I recommend you check out their website. It's so interesting. Just click here 👉 to find out more Handmade Apothecary
