Prawns with Chilli and Ginger

Serves 2


Olive Oil
Fresh Ginger, about 1cm piece, peeled and finely chopped
1 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely sliced
1 fresh chillies, de seeded and finely sliced
1 packet of large prawns, 170-200gms
1 lemon
Fresh chopped parsley
sea salt and black pepper

Preparation method

1. Put about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in hot frying pan. Add the ginger, garlic, chilli and prawns.
2. Fry for about 3 minutes until the prawns change colour
3. Turn the heat down and add the juice of half a lemon.
4. Add the chopped parsley and a lug of olive oil.


Top tips

Use a teaspoon to peel the ginger.
A teaspoon also works really well de seeding a chilli.
