Dreams Really Do Come True

As I find myself growing my business, I’ve realised something rather wonderful… I am now completely surrounded by chocolate. Honestly, it feels like my own personal version of heaven.

You know how sometimes you carry an idea around in your head for years — something you’d love to do — but for some reason, you never quite act on it? I’m not sure why that happens. Perhaps life gets busy, or we tell ourselves it’s not the right time, or maybe we’re simply waiting for permission we don’t actually need.

For me, that long-held idea was chocolate.

I’ve always loved it — who doesn’t? — but last year I decided to immerse myself in the world of chocolate in a way I had always dreamed of. Not just eating it (though there has been plenty of that!), but really understanding it. Where it comes from. How it’s made. How it behaves. And, most importantly, how to work with it confidently and joyfully at home.

I spent time learning about the journey from cocoa bean to finished bar, experimenting with tempering, and creating all sorts of chocolate treats. It felt like opening a door to a whole new world — one that sits so beautifully alongside my love of baking, gathering, and sharing food around the kitchen table.

Chocolate, I’ve discovered, is wonderfully generous. It rewards patience, care and a little curiosity. And there is something deeply satisfying about turning melted chocolate into something glossy, snappy and beautiful with your own hands.

And now  — I am so excited to be launching my very first Bean to Bar Chocolate Workshop dates.

My goal with these workshops is not only to share the fabulous world of chocolate, but to make sure you leave with the skills and confidence to temper chocolate in your own kitchen. I want you to be able to recreate what you’ve learned at home and create the most delicious chocolate treats whenever the mood strikes.

These workshops are an invitation to slow down, get hands-on, and explore chocolate together. We’ll learn how to temper chocolate properly, make chocolate bars and treats, and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating something delicious from scratch.

Whether you keep your creations all to yourself or share them with friends… that part is entirely up to you.
